Very good takeaway sushi! We went here twice on vacation

In all honesty it's okay. For the price it is what you get nothing special. But the rice is not good quality let me it's not good quality there's just a lot of blandness. Maybe I've been spoiled but with this high of review 4.7 Stars it should be a lot lot lot better. There was no Talent used to make a sushi it was prepared by people I feel don't really know the intricacies of making sushi but simply just sliced fish.

This hidden gem, tucked away at the end of a mini mall on Monsarrat Ave, provides good quality sushi for a reasonable price. Fish was plated nicely, was of high quality and tasted great. The restaurant has limited indoor and outdoor seating. Menu features a small but good mix of authentic Japanese sushi and modernist fusion sushi.

Delicious, fresh, and affordable! And the girl working the front was so friendly she made our day! A must stop for sushi.

I love Hawaii Sushi! The food is sooo fresh. Honestly, I keep forgetting about this place because it's such a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant but EVERY TIME I go, it hits the spot!! If you're looking for sushi that uses quality ingredients and doesn't break the bank, look no further.You can eat inside the restaurant, eat outside, or take it to go. There's a parking lot right outside, or street parking.

Got the snow crab poke bowl and spicy ahi poke bowl and it was cheap but amazing! Great hidden gem tucked away from the main tourist area. Small dining area and parking lot is small!

It was our first time here n we are very happy😊 portion were a bit small side but fish quality n rice were perfect 👌 we got a rolls combo, hawaii sushi combo and a rainbow rolls. It was all yum n fresh we both had a happy tummy😋

Great place to grab lunch, even on the go! Each day of the week has a special menu item which changes on a monthly basis. These special items are at a great price and consist of varying poke or sashimi bowl items with rice.

Respectable, fresh, well-priced neighborhood sushi joint. Small quarters, so not a place to linger.

Excellent sushi and poke spot, very fresh and quick. Small little shop so you probably don't want to go with more than 4-5 people. Staff is friendly. You will probably have some difficulty parking as there are quite a few stores for the 15 or so parking spots, so you may want to walk or park down the street.

INCREDIBLE value, such delicious sushi at the best prices in Honolulu by far. Only a small shop so may get really busy, but absolutely worth stopping by 👍🏻

Went here literally every day we were in Waikiki and have no regrets. Great fresh Sushi, lovely staff and the Spicy Ahi Bowl justified my entire plane ticket. Highly recommend.

The best sushi to goplace. Free parking. Small lot tho. Take to go or eat inside. Super friendly cashier. Water and cups are there on the counter along with any condiments or napkins needed. They have a case of sushi ready to go and pick to your liking. The quality of sushi is probably the best on the island. It's always so fresh and flavorful ! It's one of our favorite spots!

Great casual place for poke bowls and sushi. Worth the walk over there from Waikiki beach.The special sushi rolls all have shrimp in them so heads up of you don't like shrimp.

Best dining experience in Honolulu yet. The fresh Wasabi was great. Sushi was very fresh and flavorful. The gentleman at the counter was superb. Highly recommended.

After a long day at the beach this is a lite and refreshing place to go to. It’s. Little joint walking distance from the beach. Although we did not walk. My boyfriend and I drove. It was a quite packed area. We had to park a little bit away from the restaurant. It was no problem tho. They had a nice menu full of sushi and some great specials. I love salmon so I got the salmon special. It was so delicious. It came with a miso soup. The miso soup you know it was made from scratch. Not the miso packet some use. There sushi was fresh. Everything was good. I really enjoyed their food. For all our food it was about $30.

This was the best sushi I had in Hawaii. Fresh food tasting fish, tasty seaweed, and overall quality was great.

This place is legit.Fresh fish, perfectly cooked rice, rolled just right and you can't beat the price. We love this place.

Nice local sushi joint serving fresh high quality sushi, rows and poke without breaking the piggy bank. There are also already made sushi bento box that you can just grab and go.

Reasonable sushi

We tried a few other places but this one had the best variety for the price. We got 3 rolls for around $26. The Rainbow roll is the best! The seating area is small so takeout is a good option on a busy day. The staff is friendly enough and they are timely in preparing the food.

Delicious! The lava crunch roll was really good, we both got the salmon poke which were also really good. It's fast service and a nice little clean place to eat

The tastiest and freshest poke I have ever had ever!

This place is awesome, I ordered the spicy tuna poke. Is not in cubes like im used to. But is delicious. The plate is big and they add lots of avocado. I also ordered the miso soup, which I was happily surprise it was of a good size too.

My Japanese wife loves this place. It's super inexpensive, and she says the rice is perfect. She says it's super fresh too, but this is Hawaii, so that's to be expected.

Delicious, fresh sushi. I recommend one of the poke bowls. They give you a good helping of fish in your bowl. Free cucumber water and seating available inside and outside. There is a parking lot, but not a lot of spaces.

Great, fresh sushi. No alcohol selections that we found but the setting was nice and cozy. The service was great. The place was clean. The sushi deals were some of the best we found while visiting.

The sushi here is really fresh! No surimi krab filler, it's all authentic. The rice was done almost perfect... and the portions were well sized. I'm looking forward to trying mire of the menu now! We had the spicy tuna avocado bowl, lava roll, and 6 piece spicy tuna roll. All three were really good... Locals, this place is legit for now.

The best sushi you can find on the island for the price. You will never find a place like this anywhere else in the world (besides Japan of course). But for people who crave sushi, this is the place to go if you don't want to spend more than 50 dollars for a meal.

Second trip to Hawaii Sushi in the last 24hrs. I would move to Aloha just for this place. Highly recommend.
